Estimated DC Charging Time Reference
Illustrative calculation, not a vehicle-specific test: assume a 75kWh usable battery charging from 20% to 80%, adding approximately 45kWh. The examples below use the average power actually entering the battery over that interval, not the station's advertised peak power or the adapter's rating.
| Assumed average battery charging power | Energy added (20% → 80%) | Calculated charging time |
|---|---|---|
| 50kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 54 minutes |
| 75kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 36 minutes |
| 100kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 27 minutes |
Estimate your own reference: minutes ≈ usable battery capacity (kWh) × change in charge level × 60 ÷ average battery charging power (kW). In this example, the change in charge level is 0.60. This is a simplified energy calculation; it is not a forecast from the charger nameplate.
What decides the average? Vehicle BMS and charging curve, battery temperature and state of charge, station output, cable path, and the adapter's current/power limits. A compatible NACS / SAE J3400 DC source → CCS2 vehicle path and manufacturer/operator permission must be confirmed separately; For Supercharger use, independently verify vehicle eligibility, station support, adapter authorization, and app/payment flow. Neither an EU-market label nor physical fit establishes network access. authorization determines whether the session can start, not a promised charging time.
Times describe charging, not driving. They exclude queueing and connection/startup time. Average power already represents tapering and any energy not entering the battery; no unsupported extra loss percentage is added. Actual time may be longer or shorter with different battery capacity or average power. Use a row only if that average power is achievable within the vehicle, station, battery voltage, and adapter limits; the table does not guarantee that every setup can reach all three rows. This adapter does not create power. Its 250kW / 250A / 1000V DC ratings are limits, not a promise of sustained charging power.

FAQ
No. 250kW is the adapter’s rated ceiling. Actual DC fast-charging speed depends on the charger output, vehicle BMS, battery temperature, state of charge, charging curve, and network authorization.
No. This is a DC fast-charging adapter. It is not for Type 1 / J1772 AC, Type 2 AC, NACS AC, home wallboxes, destination chargers, or AC Level 2 charging.
Use it when the charging source side is NACS / SAE J3400 DC and the vehicle side is CCS2. If your source and vehicle are reversed, choose a reverse-direction adapter path.

I bought it before a border trip. Delivery matched the stated window. One more thing: the protective cap fits properly.
A replacement. My cheaper adapter started running warm. The latch released normally afterward.
The NACS to CCS2 adapter lives in my frunk now. I bought it for travel where charger options can be awkward. It is not tiny, but the build feels right for DC use and the case protected it during shipping.
Connector seating mattered more than peak speed; its weight suits the hardware inside. That was my main requirement.
The product diagram answered my question, and the latch released normally afterward. It now stays with my charging cable.
Dense foam surrounded both connector ends. This helped because an upcoming cross-border drive prompted the order.
The protective cap fits properly. It was relevant because support checked both connector photos.
Shipping was a bit slower because I ordered during the holiday period, but still within the website estimate. The DC adapter itself is solid and fits cleanly. I prefer this over taking a chance on an unknown Amazon seller.

came with a nice storage packaging
Your satisfaction is our biggest drive !
Support checked both connector photos, and charging began without reconnecting the cable. I feel better prepared for trips.
The carton was delivered in wet weather. The pins arrived clean and straight. The reflective sticker was a nice extra.
My cheaper adapter started running warm. The clearest improvement is that the latch released normally afterward.
