Tesla-Link DC Adapter Path
Use compatible CCS1 DC fast chargers with a CCS-enabled Tesla / NACS vehicle.
CCS1 DC fast charger
Tesla / NACS vehicle inlet
DC fast charging only
250kW · 500A max · 500V DC max · IP65
FCC · UL Tested
CCS support required: your Tesla must support CCS charging. Physical connector fit alone does not guarantee the charger, vehicle, account, and network will authorize a DC fast-charging session.
Estimated DC Charging Time Reference
Illustrative calculation, not a vehicle-specific test: assume a 75kWh usable battery charging from 20% to 80%, adding approximately 45kWh. The examples below use the average power actually entering the battery over that interval, not the station's advertised peak power or the adapter's rating.
| Assumed average battery charging power | Energy added (20% → 80%) | Calculated charging time |
|---|---|---|
| 50kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 54 minutes |
| 75kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 36 minutes |
| 100kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 27 minutes |
Estimate your own reference: minutes ≈ usable battery capacity (kWh) × change in charge level × 60 ÷ average battery charging power (kW). In this example, the change in charge level is 0.60. This is a simplified energy calculation; it is not a forecast from the charger nameplate.
What decides the average? Vehicle BMS and charging curve, battery temperature and state of charge, station output, cable path, and the adapter's current/power limits. A compatible CCS1 DC source → Tesla / NACS vehicle path, vehicle CCS charging support, and manufacturer/operator permission must be confirmed separately; authorization determines whether the session can start, not a promised charging time.
Times describe charging, not driving. They exclude queueing and connection/startup time. Average power already represents tapering and any energy not entering the battery; no unsupported extra loss percentage is added. Actual time may be longer or shorter with different battery capacity or average power. Use a row only if that average power is achievable within the vehicle, station, battery voltage, and adapter limits; the table does not guarantee that every setup can reach all three rows. This adapter does not create power. Its 250kW / 500A max / 500V DC max ratings are limits, not a promise of sustained charging power.

DC-only boundary: use this adapter only for compatible CCS1 DC fast-charging sessions. It is not for J1772 AC Level 2 charging, not for charging a CCS1 vehicle from a Tesla / NACS source, and not for vehicles without Tesla CCS support.
FAQ
No. This is a DC fast-charging adapter. If your source is a J1772 AC Level 2 station and your vehicle is Tesla / NACS, use a J1772-to-Tesla AC adapter instead.
No. Your Tesla must support CCS charging. Vehicle year, market configuration, software, and station authorization can affect whether a CCS1 DC session starts.
Use it when the charging source side is CCS1 DC and the vehicle side is Tesla / NACS. It is not for charging a CCS1 vehicle from a Tesla / NACS source.

Online listings kept reversing the direction. I feel better prepared for trips. Also, the carrying case feels genuinely useful.
The unit did not sag against the inlet. It stood out because my cheaper adapter started running warm.
The case protects the exposed contacts. This made sense because the product diagram answered my question.
for me it's a backup. The protective cap fits properly !
The adapter is mostly for longer drives; gonna test longer
I returned a very light generic unit. It seems like a sensible replacement.
Overall ok
The previous plug needed too much force. The case protects the exposed contacts. Took two weeks to arrive.
The warranty helped me decide. The connector I replaced kept binding. Pin finishing looks noticeably cleaner.
I ordered before travelling abroad; the pins arrived clean and straight. The first test was reassuring.
My older CCS1 to Tesla adapter was loose and made me nervous. This one locks in more firmly and feels like a proper upgrade. Delivery took 20 days, which was within the estimate, and customer service answered a compatibility question before I ordered.
support replied pretty fast when I sent a quick question
I focused on fit before charging rate. The main difference is that the direction labels are easy to follow.
