What decides DC fast-charging speed?
For a compatible CCS2 DC source → CHAdeMO vehicle inlet path, this adapter is rated up to 250A / 100kW DC. These are ceilings, not a promised charging speed. A higher-power station does not increase the adapter's rating.
Actual charging speed depends on station output, the vehicle's CHAdeMO generation and BMS, battery temperature, state of charge, charging curve, cable path, protocol compatibility, and session authorization.
There is no universal 0–80% charging time for this adapter. Check the vehicle's supported DC charging power and charging curve before planning a stop. DC charging only; not for AC charging or reverse-direction use.

No. This is a DC fast-charging adapter with active protocol conversion. It is not for Type 1 / J1772 AC, Type 2 AC, home wallboxes, destination chargers, or AC Level 2 charging.
Use it when the charging source side is CCS2 DC and the vehicle side is CHAdeMO. If your source is CCS1, choose the CCS1 to CHAdeMO adapter path instead.

The CCS2 to CHAdeMO adapter is not cheap, but it gives my older car more usable charger options. Support warned me to check compatibility first, which I appreciated. Shipping was 21 days and packaging was excellent.
