Estimated DC Charging Time Reference
Illustrative calculation, not a vehicle-specific test: assume a 75kWh usable battery charging from 20% to 80%, adding approximately 45kWh. The examples below use the average power actually entering the battery over that interval, not the station's advertised peak power or the adapter's rating.
| Assumed average battery charging power | Energy added (20% → 80%) | Calculated charging time |
|---|---|---|
| 50kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 54 minutes |
| 75kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 36 minutes |
| 100kW average | 45kWh added to the battery | About 27 minutes |
Estimate your own reference: minutes ≈ usable battery capacity (kWh) × change in charge level × 60 ÷ average battery charging power (kW). In this example, the change in charge level is 0.60. This is a simplified energy calculation; it is not a forecast from the charger nameplate.
What decides the average? Vehicle BMS and charging curve, battery temperature and state of charge, station output, cable path, and the adapter's current/power limits. A compatible CCS2 DC source → CCS1 vehicle path and manufacturer/operator permission must be confirmed separately; authorization determines whether the session can start, not a promised charging time.
Times describe charging, not driving. They exclude queueing and connection/startup time. Average power already represents tapering and any energy not entering the battery; no unsupported extra loss percentage is added. Actual time may be longer or shorter with different battery capacity or average power. This adapter does not create power, and its 250kW rating is a ceiling, not sustained output.

FAQ
No. 250kW is the adapter’s rated ceiling. Actual DC fast-charging speed depends on the charger output, vehicle BMS, battery temperature, state of charge, charging curve, and network authorization.
No. This is a DC fast-charging adapter. It is not for Type 1 / J1772 AC, Type 2 AC, home wallboxes, destination chargers, or AC Level 2 charging.
Use it when the charging source side is CCS2 DC and the vehicle side is CCS1. If your source and vehicle are reversed, choose a reverse-direction adapter path.

The size suits the hardware. Online listings kept reversing the direction. Dense foam surrounded both connector ends.
Online listings kept reversing the direction. It now stays with my charging cable. I also noticed nothing shifted inside the shipping carton.
Pin finishing looks noticeably cleaner. It was relevant because my new setup uses another connector.

The old latch had become loose. Delivery brought no extra duty. I also noticed pin finishing looks noticeably cleaner.
My priority was a secure connection. I feel better prepared for trips.
The bargain unit felt too lightly built. The clearest improvement is that dense foam surrounded both connector ends.
I was confused between CCS1 and CCS2 and sent a photo of my port. Support pointed me to the correct CCS2 to CCS1 DC adapter. It arrived safely and saved me from buying the wrong item.
The first box arrived during heavy rain, and waterproof wrap kept the inner box dry. Delivery just fine
No need for reconnecting the cable. It was relevant because I wanted one for the trunk.
The customer service answered every question that I asked , he was really helpful
It seems like a sensible replacement. A used EV changed my charging setup. Both ends locked on the first try.
The latch released normally afterward. The old unit never seated easily; the reflective sticker was a nice extra.
