Charge Your CCS1 EV at Tesla Superchargers.
500A · 1000V · IP65 Weatherproof.

The ChargePapa DC-Link NACS to CCS1 Adapter connects Tesla Supercharger stations (NACS) to CCS1-inlet electric vehicles, unlocking access to the largest DC fast charging network in North America. Rated at 500A / 1000V DC with IP65 weatherproofing and FCC / UL certification.

NACS to CCS1 Clean Garage Scene

⚠️ For Use with NACS Tesla Superchargers ONLY

This adapter is NOT suitable for use with:

  • Wall Connectors (home chargers)
  • Destination Chargers
  • Mobile Connectors
  • Any other EV chargers

Misuse may result in damage and safety hazards. Verify the station is a NACS Supercharger before connecting.

🔌 Conversion Logic

Insert the NACS connector into the Tesla Supercharger station. The CCS1 end connects to your vehicle's inlet. The adapter physically bridges the two connector formats — no active electronics, full rated current throughput.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Tesla account to use Superchargers?

Yes. Non-Tesla vehicles using Superchargers must have a Tesla account with a valid payment method. The adapter provides the physical connection — network access is managed through the Tesla app or in-vehicle screen at Magic Dock-equipped stations.

Is this a passive or active adapter?

This is a passive physical adapter with no active electronics. It bridges the NACS and CCS1 connector formats. Communication between the station and vehicle occurs directly via the vehicle's onboard charging system.

What charging speeds can I expect?

Actual charging speed is determined by your vehicle's onboard charger acceptance rate and the Supercharger station's output, not the adapter. The adapter is rated for 500A / 1000V and will not be the limiting factor for any current production CCS1 vehicle.

Is it weatherproof?

Yes. The adapter carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is rated for operation from -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C).

What happens if the adapter gets too hot?

The adapter includes built-in temperature monitoring. If the charging handle temperature exceeds 135°F (57°C), charging power may be reduced automatically. If it reaches 131°F as an operational threshold, the session will shut off as a safety feature. Allow the adapter to cool for approximately 30 minutes before retrying.

✅ Standards & Certifications

Certifications confirmed in product specification:

  • FCC — Federal Communications Commission. Confirms compliance with US electromagnetic interference (EMI) limits.
  • UL — Underwriters Laboratories. Confirms the product meets UL safety standards for electrical devices in North America.
  • IP65 — Ingress Protection rating. Fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction.

⚠️ Critical Usage Note

This adapter is for NACS station to CCS1 vehicle use only. Do not use in reverse. Inspect the adapter before each use — do not use if housing is cracked, damaged, or corroded. Ensure both connectors are fully seated before initiating a charging session. Do not place fingers into the adapter slots. Store in a safe location away from water and moisture. This adapter does not guarantee Supercharger network access — verify eligibility with Tesla before use.
