⚠️ IMPORTANT: Hardware Compatibility Check

For Tesla vehicles built before 2020, please verify your car has the necessary hardware to use a CCS adapter:

  1. On your Tesla touchscreen, tap Controls (Car Icon) > Software.
  2. Click on "Additional Vehicle Information".
  3. Locate "CCS Adapter Support".
  4. It must say "Enabled". If it says "Not Installed," your car requires a hardware retrofit from Tesla before using this adapter.
