Collection: Charge Your J1772 Car at a NACS Station

Seeing more NACS stations near you?
Your J1772 car can connect — at compatible sites.

NACS (SAE J3400) is expanding across North America as an open charging standard. If you drive a J1772 (Type 1) vehicle — a Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, or similar — a ChargePapa NACS-to-J1772 adapter lets you connect at compatible, authorized NACS station sites.

  • 🔌 More stations, same car — Access compatible NACS AC charging sites without switching vehicles
  • Up to 50A / 110–250V AC — Rated for the full output of compatible NACS AC stations
  • AC charging only — This adapter is for AC Level 2 NACS stations, not DC fast chargers

⚠️ Important: physical fit ≠ session authorization

NACS is an open connector standard, but not all NACS-equipped stations authorize non-Tesla vehicles. Tesla-branded Superchargers, Wall Connectors, and Destination Chargers may restrict access based on vehicle authentication — independent of whether the plug physically fits.

  • Always verify station authorization in your vehicle manufacturer's app before use
  • Third-party NACS networks (e.g. Electrify America NACS) are more likely to support non-Tesla vehicles
