Single-phase or three-phase — which do you need?

  • Single-phase (up to 7.4kW): Works on standard household circuits. Most EVs charge at 7.4kW or less on AC. This covers the majority of home charging situations.
  • Three-phase (up to 22kW): Requires a three-phase supply and a vehicle that supports three-phase AC charging. Faster, but only relevant if both conditions are met.
