Does this work with every Type 2 EV?
No. The EV must support V2L / AC power export through its Type 2 port. A matching Type 2 connector shape does not guarantee discharge support.
Is this an inverter?
No. This is a passive V2L power strip. The vehicle provides the AC output. If you need off-board inverter discharge, choose a ChargePapa high-power EV discharger model.
Can I charge the EV with this product?
No. This product is for vehicle-to-load output only. It is not an EV charger and should not be connected to charging stations or grid-tied equipment.
What should I check before plugging in appliances?
Check the appliance voltage, wattage, and startup surge. Keep the total connected load within the 16A / 3.5kW product rating and the vehicle’s V2L limit.
