FAQ

Does this require my vehicle to have a factory AC V2L inverter?

No. This high-power V2L-EU unit has its own inverter. It does not work like a passive V2L plug that relies on factory AC V2L output. The vehicle still has to authorize and maintain the discharge session.

How is this different from a Type 2 passive V2L plug?

The high-power V2L-EU is an off-board discharger with its own inverter. Passive Type 2 V2L plugs or outlet strips depend on the vehicle’s native AC V2L output capability and are lower-power paths.

Will it work with every CCS2 EV?

No universal compatibility claim is made. CCS2 connector fit is not enough by itself. Sustained discharge can depend on vehicle model, software, market configuration, battery state, BMS behavior, and whether the vehicle authorizes the output session.

Can I use it for US 120V appliances?

This is the EU 230V output model. For US-style 120V / 240V output, choose the V2L-US high-power discharger instead and match the vehicle-side input connector to NACS or CCS1.

Can I connect it to home wiring?

No direct home-wiring or grid-backfeed use should be assumed. Use it for portable AC loads only unless the complete electrical system is professionally designed, approved, and compliant with local requirements.
