Most EV charger brands are designed for a single market. Tesla Wall Connectors are US-focused. ChargePoint and JuiceBox are North America only. Wallbox covers EU and US but not Asia. 1. The Three Variables That Determine International Compatibility

Connector standard

4. Why Most Charger Brands Don't Work Internationally

The major US charger brands — ChargePoint, JuiceBox, Emporia — are designed exclusively for the North American market. Their hardware uses J1772 connectors, 240V input, and UL certification. They cannot be used in Europe or Australia without hardware modification.
